Once upon a time the story of super sparkle began...
The adventure began back in 2013 when Super Sparkle was set up by drama teacher, writer and mum, Monika, with a mission of creating magical events that celebrate children and their super sparkling imaginations!
Originally offering character parties across Nottingham, we quickly grew to bringing our fun and original party adventures to corporate events, and family festivals right across the East Midlands and beyond.
Since then we've partied with thousands of happy families and our aim remains the same- to see children sparkle!
We are now a lovely team of professional entertainers, teachers and musicians using magic, make believe (and just a smidge of silliness!) to create super special, worry free entertainment the whole family can enjoy.
From easy booking to blowing out the candles on the birthday cake, we provide the full package so you can sit back (or join in!) and celebrate together.

Hello! I'm Monika and along with my super friendly and fantastic team of party entertainers we want to provide you with a party or event all children (and grown ups!) will love and remember for a long time.
We are really proud of our 5 star reviews from happy parents and little party guests, as well as our wonderful team.

So here is a little bit about us...
Monika Johnson
Monika Johnson 
is a professional performer, children's storyteller, entertainer, theatre writer, Drama specialist and qualified Drama teacher. As well as many years teaching Speech and Drama, Monika has performed and taught both in the UK and abroad and has had her own writing for young people performed and published at various theatres across the UK.
Monika has three young children of her own and alongside parties, she continues to create new and magical stories and performance events for children of all ages-where they can enter a magical world to create, play, be inspired and have lots of fun!
BA (Hons) Drama & English, PGCE, LSDE-LAMDA.
Monika holds a current DBS check and the company holds full liability insurance.
Phil Pearson
Phil Pearson is a Super Sparkle entertainer and also an experienced and professional performer, musician, singer, videographer and music interaction specialist.
Alongside Super Sparkle Parties, Phil runs the theatre of citizens theatre company and is part of a Rock and pop wedding band, The Hypertones, as well as a solo soul and Jazz singer. Phil composes all of our original music for Children's shows and events and for our online storytelling and sing alongs.
BA (Hons) Music Production.
Phil holds a current DBS check.
